These words appeared in an article published in a magazine devoted to hotel food.

And the author was spot-on in his assessment of the Tooborac Hotel & Brewery’s meals.

The pub has recently remodelled their kitchen with sparkling new stainless steel equipment.
And now the chef’s creations are even more tempting.
The Rabbit Pie is the hero of the district.
Their steaks are trimmed and cooked to succulent perfection.
The food is not pretentious but it is exciting.
Naturally the menu changes with the seasons and availability of fresh produce.
Nevertheless, the old favourites which are demanded by regular customers remain.
The ‘specials’ simply add another interest for the foodies.

But all the meals, whether they are served with chips or a garden salad, are something the kitchen is proud of.
And you can experience the results of that pride.
